I've been listneing to these lot,Tame Impala, a psychedelic/garageband from Australia, quite beatles-esque. Their debut album is fantastic and i urge all of you to get it. They're going to be huge.

Sad news. Even though they were a made for TV group I loved the monkees when I was a kid.

Very sad news indeed.
When I was a kid it was from watching the Monkees on TV and also the Hard Days Night film with The Beatles that made me want to be in a band when I was older.
It looked great fun sharing a house with others and fooling around all the time.
