Renell McKenzie-Lyle is playing for Leighton Town FC. Not sure if he has made a transfer or just a loan/work experience.

Leighton Town plays in Spartan South Midlands Premier League, level 9 in English football.

If his performance in the county cup last year is anything to go by, that's his ceiling.

Scott McGleish is still playing on at the age of 45! On the bench for Hendon against Wimborne Town on Saturday!

What about signing former player Adam Thompson from Bury?

Originally from Harlow/Watford and coulb strengthen the team both during this injury crisis but also afterwards (if).

Suggests he was on loan for us briefly in 2013. Can't say I remember him...

Came on as sub in one game and then went off injured a couple of minutes later - one of the most short lived Barnet careers ever!

Not according to https://www.soccerbase.com/teams/team.s ... amTabs=h2h - was looking as was at the game but can't remember him. He came on on the 82nd minute for Ricky Holmes.

Edgar Davids interesting said Barnet " also went for the direct approach but kept the ball on the ground."

We also had on the subs bench M Holwijn and G Barker who I can't remember, and Jordan Brown who I wish I didn't.

Think he finished game then dislocated his shoulder in training the following Monday and returned to Watford!

Melvyn Holwijn was a dutch striker who ED brought over and played once, George Barker was on loan from brighton for a month but hardly featured during that month.

https://www.soccerbase.com/players/play ... son_id=142. Press the "i" box next to the single fixture he featured in for us. which gives the team details and confirms that he came on 82nd minute and finished the match

As regards our squad that day, I just about remember Taiwo Ateino, he'd played for other clubs then joined us briefly. George Barker started one match, was subbed then returned to his parent club. Melvin Holwijn, he was another player who came on very late in a single match and then was never seen again.
S Iro means absolutely nothing to me.

We might complain, justifiably, about not using the loan market nowadays but in those days maybe we overdid it!

We went through a ridiculous number of players that season (as shown below) - every Friday I'd go onto the OS and we'll have made a trio of loan signings ahead of the following day!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012%E2%8 ... .C._season

Ironically despite making so many loan and non-contract signings we were short of a goalscoring midfielder and any real competition for Hyde (who blew hot and cold) all season. A real shame, as we played some lovely football at times.

A "ridiculous amount of players"? Just imagine trying to keep track on a thread like this when Bazza was in charge and changing personnel like pairs of socks.
