Went to Kempston Rovers today. Izale playing up front. Scored a superb equaliser beating two defenders, cutting back behind them and cooly slotting past the Aylesbury keeper. He then set up a second.

I see our Benji Aghadiuno came on for Aylesbury and got a late equaliser for them.

It wasn't even just Nurse, the likes of Mengerink and Crawford were given chances ahead of him too. In the years since we've continued to favour mediocre squad players over giving the youth a chance.

By the time Jamal left those 2 had long gone & Nurse was only kept on as a coach who could play if we were short!

Soon after he was released by us I saw him playing superbly for Hampton & Richmond. Amazing that we ket him go. Who was responsible for that decision?

Seems to be people being wise after the event, as I recall I saw nothing from Jamal Lowe to suggest he was one for the future, he didn't grab his chance when given it, can't keep everyone just in case.

Lowe was a forgettable player for many of his teams including us. Great for him to do so well and potentially become a million pound + player in the Champ.
