The team partly owned by Danny Dyer of EastEnders, Football Factory, The Business and other shithouse productions.

I can see it now. Dyer to Medley before a big match "Their goalie's a Toby! We're gonna smash 'em and be a bit lemon with the ball!"

Edit: Former manager was Paul Barnes. Not the striker that scored a hat-trick against us in a 5-1 defeat at home to York City. The day things all started to go wrong on that spring afternoon in March 1993?
Possibly but I think there have been worse (and more pivotal) days.....

Shane Cojocarel looked a very good prospect when he had his chance in the first team but then he broke his arm and was never seen again. But surely he could have done better than Bostik League North?

He is better than that level but in the English game most managers will have little time for a player who is 5'5" (approx) regardless of their ability.

Chelsea in the '80s would have taken him - Speedie, Spencer, Stein etc.

How could you leave out that nasty little weasel, Dennis Wise?

"He's only five foot four"
"He'll break your f****** jaw!"

At least MA moving on means that we avoided getting him again.

Martin Allen likes a long throw merchant in his match day squad (usually on the bench). Muggleton is precisely that. Look how Joe Payne suddenly found his way into Barnet's squad when MA returned last season.

I suppose young muggleton will have to retire as well when Martin Allen finally does!
