FT 1-1

21 Burton Albion 42 -15 45
22 Northampton 42 -11 44
23 Barnet 42 -20 41
24 Stockport 42 -47 36

Remaining Fixtures
Barnet: Gillingham (A), Oxford (H), Accrington (A), Port Vale (H)
Northampton: Rotherham (H), Stockport (A), Stevenage (H), Morecambe (A)
Burton: Aldershot (A), Torquay (H), Southend (A), Accrington (H)

We're not going to improve on Northampton's GD, and unlikely on Burton's. So essentially we need to get 4 points more than Northampton or 5 points more than Burton in the last 4 games.

Full time, 1-1. Not the perfect result but better than I feared.

1-1. Better than it could have been, but still...

I think overall, if we'd have been told when Burton had 7 or 8 games in hand over us that when they finally drew level on games with us that they'd only be four points ahead of us, everyone would have taken it!

The 4 point margin is something that could be completely wiped out by Monday evening or something that could have increased to 10 points.

The important thing is that we still have a chance, albeit a slim one, of staying in this league. Sure if every other teams win their games then we'll be down regardless of what we do however, that is extremely unlikely and somehow we have to get ourselves into a position where we can take advantage of other teams failings!

It begins at Gillingham on Saturday!

Not too bad a result last night.
I think (sadly) that Northampton will beat Stockport and get a point at Rotherham so we need to ensure we get more than 48 points (as goal difference is our enemy) which basically means winning 3 out of the remaining 4 - a big ask, especially for a manager with no experience at all (as much of a club legend he is)

Can we do it???

While it would obviously have been better for Burton to collect 0 points rather than 1, at least they led and then conceded rather than coming from behind.

Although they were away, it will still seem like 2 points lost rather than 1 point gained and hopefully that pressure will keep building on them.

It's down to us. If we have a decent, (not even brilliant), finish to the season I think we will do it, (because I don't think they will collect loads of points).
