Roy Carroll?

I see he is no longer training/training with the squad. Wouldn't be surprised if he pops up a County with Allen as their keeper certainly hasn't showered himself in any glory in recent weeks. Can he sign for them though? Is there a reason we didn't sign him? (even on non-contract terms?)

He cannot join anyone who is subject to the transfer window because he left Odense after Jan 31 so would not be able to get international clearance to play.

Probably because, after using more than 40 different players already this season, there wasn't enough room to add yet another on the stats page of the club programme ...

Yes, but think of us old guys with lousy eyesight, Tor.

By the way, does anyone know whether this is a new club record for the number of players used in one season (in addition to the club record of managers in one season)? By my reckoning, we've used something like 42 players ...

Well short of the 49 players who played in the 1988/89 season- a season that we won a trophy & were in contention in the league until we lost 6 points when Newport County (the original!) withdrew from the league with 9 games to go! In those days you only needed 13 players in your matchday squad too!
