Burton full time.

Now 3 points behind them and the cobblers.

FT 2-2 for Wycombe - Northampton.

Could be a lot worse. Can't see both them and Burton getting to 50 pts. Not that much has changed after today.

As someone said earlier we did not expect to get much from today's game and most of us thought Burton would get a result and Northampton gained a point on us but now we have to take a massive support to Gillingham next week and hopefully get something. I really think we can get enough points (hope Oxford lose next Saturday or they will bring thousands to Underhill on Monday) - the goal difference is a bit of a blow but it can be done.

demand explanation as to why Deering didn't start..

all forgiven if slightly injured.

If not, simply unforgivable

I still think we need 50 points to stay up, which means 3 wins from last 4 games, which I can't see happening.

Those goal differences can be turned in a matter of a few games. We have to thank that they are not 13 or 14 ahead. Still think the 2 homes games we must win and a draw against the Gills or the Accies might do it. Anything at Bury was wishful thinking, but after 2 goals in 3 minutes we showed guts not to concede more. Graz must install the belief in the players MA did. The fat lady isn't singing quite yet! :unkw:

Huge weekend coming up for everyone. A couple losses and we are down (probably officially), a couple wins or even 4 points and we are still in with a decent shout. Going to be very nerve racking at the Gills and at Underhill and both local games with decent crowds.

Graz just said in the interview that Parkes made a difference when he came on and hinted that he, along with some other fringe players may find their way into the first team. He wasn't happy about the first half performance but thought we played much better in the second.

Have to say, Graz's interview pleased me. He didn't hide behind them being a good team but stood up and said we hadn't been good enough first half. He said the players knew they'd not performed as they could. Think this is a good thing, he wasn't rude, pessimistic or critical but he's clearly not going to let the players give anything but 100% if he can help it.

Bury away was always going to be difficult. So it proved, Bury were just too good for us, we'd have lost if MA had still been around.

Burton v Cheltenham was always quite likely to be a home win - remember, we beat Cheltenham at home.

Wycombe went 2-0 down last Saturday then came back to draw 2-2 , they drew their previous match 0-0, it's not particuarly surprising that Northampton got a point from them.

I'm as disappointed as evrybody else but let's keep a sense of perspective. A defeat for Burton at Bradford on Tuesday is vital, but then it always was.
