Barnet to face Exodus
Barnet to face Exodus
The man with the coolest name in football, Exodus Geohaghon, has joined Port Vale on loan and is expected to face us tomorrow:

Replying to my own post:
According to this BBC report, Port Vale will become the third Football League club that Exodus Geohaghon has played for on loan this season. I thought there was a limit on the number of different clubs that a player could turn out for in a single season? (Everton's plan to loan James Vaughan to Celtic was vetoed because he'd already been at Crystal Palace on loan, then played a few minutes for Everton as a substitute against Liverpool last weekend ...).

When I have seen him I have always been quite impressed with him. Shame as Vale have quite a lot of players out tomorrow including their centre back but Exodus will slot in quite easily.

Quality player - built like a brick outhouse.
I watched him play for Kettering Town several times and he was always very impressive.

Mr Geohaghon played for Rotherham in September when Barnet lost 1-4 at Underhill. And yes, the man is huge:

Well we had Rotherham on the rack for the first 30 mins of that game. Here's hoping we can do the same v Vale and put the ball in the back of the net.
Barnet, Barnet, Barnet, because...we're staying up, and it's the bondz the bondz the bondz the bondz the bondz the bondz the bondz that will keep us together...
Why does it always fall to Togwell?

He's certainly likely to give Uddin plenty of work off set pieces.
I believe it's to do with a player playing on an (emergency?) loan not counting towards the two club rule.
The strict FIFA rule appears to be no more than three clubs in a season:

So there appears to be two seperate rules for the same thing.

from:Are there any rules in place which limit how many clubs a player can play for in one season?
Currently under the FIFA Transfer Regulations a football player is unable to play for more than three teams in one season. This applies whether the player has been transferred or simply is on loan with that club.
This also applies regardless of what country that player has plied his trade in, whether that is in Europe, Africa or South America. As long as a player has represented a club in a league under the adjudication of a FIFA Member Association they will only be able to play for three different clubs.
However, this does mean that a football player is free to represent a total of three different clubs in any league in the world over the course of one season.
