Warriors?
Pulis and Fraser both sent off within two minutes of each other. Are these the sort of warriors we want?
Edit - Beeb now saying Fraser only booked.

When you're arguing with an idiot, make sure the other person isn't doing the same.
Re: Warriors?
What exactly is happening? flashscores.co.uk said Fraser was given straight red, BBC live text says Fraser has been booked

It'll be days like this that we will all look back at come May and realise why we deserved to get relegated!

Re: Warriors?
We won't win because we can't score, what a pathetic excuse for a football club. I am really getting bored of following a club with no ambition and don't move forward after 6 years. We are going down and deserve to go down, all teams around us give 110% we play for 15 - 20 minutes and then fall apart. I don't bother going anymore and even listening to the games is becoming a chore now. PF does his best but can't work miracles, Mark Marshall seems to be the only player who gives a F++k, TK is to blame for this and I hope next season he reduces the ticket prices to suit the value of the team, F++k all. I really am beginning to hate this club and everything that goes with it. Thank you TK, you have destroyed football for me for good.
Re: Warriors?
Surely if we lay the blame on anyone, it should be with Stimson! He was the manager who was brought in with a decent track record and who should have had the ability to bring in good enough players for us to compete. As it has turned out, he has completely alienated supporters. Of course, TK appointed the manager, but I can't believe many expected us to win against Charlton and Watford, and be unlucky to lose to a strong Southampton team in pre season and end up in such dire straits months later. Personally, after this, I can't see how we can turn it around. How many games this season have we come flying out of the blocks, conceded after 25 minutes and seemingly fallen apart!
Re: Warriors?
Anyone left still believing we can survive the drop must have lost faith now. Doomed.

Looks like we've had it unless things change drastically...
However, mduffy - "hate"?

Re: Warriors?
Well, it's incredible that we had a completely different line-up today and yet the game still followed exactly the pattern we've seen so often this season - 20-25 minutes of good positive football, then conceding a goal and never looking like getting back into the game. Obviously this time the sending off compounded matters, but there can't really be any complaints - he went over the top of the ball with studs showing.
What really struck me today is there's no one in this team that fans can really be proud of. If you were bringing a kid along to support Barnet these days, who is there for them to idolise? Whose name would they possibly want on the back of their shirt? Marshall I suppose comes closest, but teams obviously do their homework and make sure he is well marshalled (apologies for that one - I'm not really in the mood for humour).
So no, I can't see any way we can escape without some mega loan signings. There were signs of improvement today in some areas, but still way, way short of being good enough.

Re: Warriors?
We're still screwed on the loan signings front! Isn't there only so many we can sign in a season/ have in our matchday 18? Which means we have to turn to players without a club. Is Kandol actually available or has he signed for this Scottish club? We need another striker, be it for cover on the bench, or to replace McLeod in the line up with, if he is being a lazy as some suggest at the moment. It was Kandol's goals fired us towards the best league position we achieved in our most recent foray into the Football League!
Re: Warriors?
Today was the day I, and probably many other optimists finally accepted we aren't likely to survive this. Southend was a must win game, Northampton even more so and today anything less than 3 points simply wasn't acceptable. We don't have the mental resilience to bounce back from mistakes we make in the game.
Our only hope I feel is that we can salvage enough points away from home where we seem to play better.
