James Dunne
Can’t run. Jogs around. Game passes him by game in game out. Awful. Discuss.

Letting Parrett go was weird. No word on Wordsworth. Is Fox back next game?

Re: James Dunne
Poor footballer, will moan and point fingers at everyone else but himself. Happy to dig others out. Get rid ASAP!
Re: James Dunne
That should be Dunne's last game for Barnet. I want to know why Wordsworth wasn't in the team.
Re: James Dunne
Totaly agree about Parrett. At least he could hold the ball and pass it. He and Wordsworth in midfield would have been a good combination. I guess Wordsworth isn't and Parrett wasn't tall enough for Flowers.

.....and he’s captain! I rarely moan about individual players but I this instance it feels entirely merited. He’s so far off the pace of a game that it’s embarrassing.

That doesn't bode well.
Re: James Dunne
He started off well last season but looked way off the pace since returning from injury and has not got better.
Re: James Dunne
Lets hope that the note TF passed to Dunne during the game was a weeks notice of termination of contract.
Re: James Dunne
Whatever the note said it didn't work!

Re: James Dunne
At the risk of being castigated I have to say - I didn't think he was any worse than a number of others yesterday. Can you honestly say that any of the 6 'midfield'/wing backs performed any better? Only exception for me would be Petrasso when he came on.
Re: James Dunne
Totally agree. Did McQueen ever touch the ball? Totally anonymous. As Paul Fairclough would say "he was on the pitch".
Flowers has to get someone in the middle who can hold the ball and pass like Parrett or Wordsworth. Didn't we have them once?
We need an explanation as to where Wordsworth was? We set up to defend with very limited attacking options so eventualy the dam must get breached. Dover will stuff us as at least they are giving it a go with youngsters who have nothing to lose.

Don't think Dunne was any worse than others out there yesterday, also agree he hasn't looked much since he returned from injury, last season he was there to do a job whilst those around him attacked, we know we lack that attacking bit.
Had heard months ago Wordsworth's contract was until January, whether playing any more games triggers a deal to the end of the season I've no idea and given the uncertainty of the season another expense to be avoided?
