That was the season before!
Was it 5 nil?
I remember so many stockport fans, huge flags, singing fans, it was like a carnival at the top end of the east terrace.
And then we summarily thrashed them.
One of my favourite home games of all time.

3-1, one of Charlie Allen’s better days for us!

The Stelling meltdown was after we beat them in April 2017?

I remember our home form for the last few months in that 2007-2008 was brilliant and we gave out a few thrashings.

Were they not also the fans having a carnival, waving flags and singing that also contained a mob who put the window though at the Weavers after the game?

Speculation that Brighton u23 Manager Simon Rusk will be Stockport's new boss.
Right, are you sitting down?
The same journalist touting the above has suggested that his assistant could well be Mark McGhee!!!!!!!

I have a feeling it may have been Notts County? I remember we had a couple of seasons where we seemed to have an otherwise unexplainable rivalry with them. I think it culminated in us going 1-0 down at Underhill one year and Ian Hendon hitting two penalties to win us the game.

I must be thinking of a different visit then, they were definitely Stockport followers.

I'd arranged for my mate to be mascot for his 30th at that game. Had 45 people in the East Terrace, and a big session in the Queen's afterwards where the Notts County fans in attendance took to each other with pool cue's whilst the Barnet fan's laughed at their idiocy.

Hessenthaler won a penalty after carrying the ball about 70 yards into the box, ran out of steam then simply waited to be scythed down in the most idiotic penalty i've ever seen a defender give away.

The following season we went 2-0 up against them and lost 3-2.

I think Hendo may have scored a penalty in that one too. Pineapple scored the winner for them.

Was your mate wearing a full on 80's Barnet kit, complete with short shorts and proceeded to dance in front of and wind up the away fans, at half time?

I'm sure this was the same Stockport match, previously mentioned with our MC winding up the Stockport fans.

If memory serves we beat them 2-1, with goals from Jason Puncheon and Cliff Akurang. Great assist from Danny Hart for Big Cliff’s goal, too.
The club record thing tripped a memory, they had an up and coming and later to be Nazi sympathiser, Wayne Hennessey on loan and he was on a consecutive clean sheet run...I think he had already broken the record but Barnet eventually put one past him.

In 2006-2007 season when we went to Hartlepool in the November (I think) we beat them 1-0 and they would not lose again until they came to us later in season in the March (again I think lol)
