Weather forecast is awful so there is a strong chance it will not go ahead

£2.50 of that is VAT. The rest, after expenses, is split between us and Farsley.hoppy wrote:... adult price to watch Tuesday's replay against Farsley.

Expenses include police, stewards, match officials, Farsley’s travel costs, floodlights, etc. I don’t think either club will be making much profit.

Was told yesterday that the pitch is ok now.talldarkslim wrote:Weather forecast is awful so there is a strong chance it will not go ahead
Does anyone know if the Spurs ladies game went ahead?
£15 does seem harsh imo especially as Farsley on charged us £10 to get in yesterday.
Re: FIFTEEN QUID...
last season terrace price was £10 so cup tickets were £10 across the board, this year terrace price is £15 so club is just charging the cheapest standard league ticket price!

Not compulsory though is it?jerroll wrote:last season terrace price was £10 so cup tickets were £10 across the board, this year terrace price is £15 so club is just charging the cheapest standard league ticket price!
This is one example where lower prices might bring in more income.
At 15 quid we could have fewer than Farsley did as some might stay away on principle.
Re: FIFTEEN QUID...
No, just trying to offer a logical explanation rather than justify what they are charging.

They know that the crowd will be 300 whatever the price. It's just about squeezing everything out of the loyal fan base.

I ain't going, not because of what was said to me. I don't care what you say to me, I'll laugh it off. It's the fact I don't want to keep watching the same groundhog day shit.
Re: FIFTEEN QUID...
The Spurs Ladies game did go ahead and Spurs won 2-1 with a winner scored in the 96th minute after West Ham equalised in the 89th minute. It is easy to find the result of these games if you are interested for whatever reason by going on the BBC football website.letchbee94 wrote:Was told yesterday that the pitch is ok now.talldarkslim wrote:Weather forecast is awful so there is a strong chance it will not go ahead

Re: FIFTEEN QUID...
I suspect Letchbee94 purely wanted to know whether our pitch was played on this afternoon. Like many of us he probably wasn't remotely interested in the match itself.RichardM wrote:The Spurs Ladies game did go ahead and Spurs won 2-1 with a winner scored in the 96th minute after West Ham equalised in the 89th minute.
