Romford
Romford
Might be worth keeping an eye on Romford in the coming weeks/months. Report in the paper says that they've been taken over by everyones favourite football club owner, Glenn Tamplin. On his first day in charge he apparently signed 15 new players, sacked the manager before installing himself as manager.
Re: Romford
Yes, sacked the management team in place.
The manager had been there 13 years and Saturday was to be his 300th game.
And playing Coggeshall Utd FC at the weekend, managed by our greatest ever striker, so lets hope he gets turned over.

Re: Romford
I wonder who the 15 new players are. Must have cost him a few bob to get rid of all the others, assuming they were on some kind of contracts. The soap opera starts.
Re: Romford
Anyone able to find the 15 that were signed?
cheers

Re: Romford
Sir Cliff doesn't just manage them, he owns them, so this fixture is a rare meeting of two opposing chairmanagers, has this happened before?MCB wrote:Yes, sacked the management team in place.

Re: Romford
Nutjobs? Oh come on Alex.
It was bad enough when you used your programme notes to bemoan your perceived (self inflicted) slights on this message board but calling fellow supporters nutjobs is another cracking example of the type of behaviour which has no place in a civilised discussion.
I am gutted for Romford and their manager who lost their job of 13 years because the circus came to town.

Tiresome.
And in the spectacularly unlikely event that the mods missed the comment (seriously? Lol), I have flagged it.

Why do you assume that 2 people between them spot everything that upsets anyone on this forumNorfolk & Chance wrote: And in the spectacularly unlikely event that the mods missed the comment (seriously? Lol), I have flagged it.
Course they don't.

We host a wide range of, often forthright, points of view on here. That said, we would prefer that people refrain from describing fellow fans as nutjobs or similar.alexbach wrote:good tamplin is back on the scene......
