The reason i and theguru mentioned so called premier league players was to say Pavey is not only player to miss very good chance. As he has taken a lot of stick after his miss. I am stunned and shocked at posts suggesting Martin Allen would do better with the current squad. For those who believe this go and sign up to Chesterfields forum and tell there large following what a great manager he is and see what response you get. I have read pages and pages of there view of Martin allen. And can assure you NONE were positive. And most would not be allowed to be out on a public site were kids can view.

Acting like that is the only sitter Pavey has missed, missed a few at Halifax and a golden opportunity at Ebbsfleet.

This could be a case of making a slight adjustment to technique. Pavey's headed misses have tended to go up and over the goal which, I assume, is because he is late making contact with the ball and his head is leaning slightly backwards and too far below the ball. Perhaps he could try attacking the ball very early and then making adjustments until he gets it perfect. Just a suggestion.

He has missed chances however he has the ability to get into the right position at the right time, different to someone like Byron Harrison who didn't miss many chances because he never had many chances, due to the fact that he never got into the right position at the right time. Agree with you however you need to possess both correct positioning and finishing ability to make a solid outlet up top, however currently Pavey only has one of them.

As someone who specialises in film (and video), this has always irked me. It’s not that hard to produce a decent highlights package. We are probably using some cheap videographers... for example why don’t they set up a camera behind each goal? Nor do they bother with any kind of graphics. Lazy.
