Still (out) the joy of August is that when you play ineffective insipid football with no end product you have the chance to put things right a few days later, it is just a shame we cannot do so away from the mausoleum where our fans tend to make more noise.
For Chesterfield, they must be wriggling uncomfortably in their seat after a start which has seen them get 2 points from 4 games. They were tipped by many as dark horses for the National League but with this start they are virtually obsidian.
In terms of our line up, we are missing Sweeney, Johnson, Tutonda, Vilhete, Walker and our new number 9 which leaves us very short in key positions, and makes predicting the team hard, to put it mildly. I would go:-
--------------------------Loach-------------------------
----------Santos---------H. Taylor-----Reynolds-----
--Alexander--------------------------------Elito--------
------------J. Taylor----Boucaud-----Dunne------------
--------------------Mason-Clarke--------------------------
------------------------Akinola------------------------------
Subs: Adams, Vasilou, Matrevics, Barham, Coulthirst
Hoping we have a specialist left back, a centre back and a NUMBER 9 on Board by Saturday, but not holding out any great expectations based on our limited transfer activity sofa.
None the less, we need to get behind the bees and do our bit, even if they are not doing theirs.
