What the hell is going on. It is now becoming serious. TK needs to put his head above the parapet and give the fans some idea. If indeed he has one.

What the hell is going on? We offload a striker without a replacement.

In fairness, it's been clear for some time that DC does not see a place for Bettamer in the squad. Him leaving makes little difference in terms of who we will see out on the pitch.

Must be a clash of personalities, otherwise Bettamer would've at least be in the reckoning in the current circumstances.

What are the odds of Fondop coming on and scoring the winner against us tomorrow?

Don't worry, TK and DC have it all under control, I am sure that the news, when it comes, of our new striker it will blow our minds!

Wow surprised we’ve let Bettamer leave with no one coming in. Hawkins from Pompey on loan would be my hope with the Daggers connections.

Does anyone know when the last time TK came out with a statement updating us on the club? Cannot remember one coming out in the year 2019.

I have now had a chance to simmer down and think about things more calmly. It has to be noted that a fair bit of Fondop's football has been played in the North, so may be that is where he is based.

He went to Essex uni and moved here from Cameroon to study. I think he only moved North to get a shot in the NL having previously played step 2/3 down South. In short he seems pretty mobile location wise.

I really wouldn't worry about him going to Chesterfield. There is potential there but four teams at this level have failed to get the best out of him and he isn't the type of player DC has said he is looking for anyway.

He's a striker and we need one. The days of being too choosy are now over and options appear to be rapidly running out. However, perhaps there is one more twist. I'm not holding my breath though.

When the window closes there will be plenty of strikers, looking for a club to play football. That’s when we will sign someone, just got to hope we’re not to far behind the leaders when it happens.

If we aren't signing either a target man or a good striker, what is the point of signing a crap one for the sake of it? Akinola may not be a striker but I'd rather stick with him than settle for someone who will score as much as he will. We also have coulthirst who we know scores goals at this level.

Didn't akinola hit 15 one season?
