Re: Scott Loach
Excellent signing, if this is the standard of player DC is searching for then we could be in for a good season.

Re: Scott Loach
A far better keeper than Mark Cousins from what I’ve seen, and someone with a strong personality on the pitch.
Very positive first signing, let’s get a few more in!

Re: Scott Loach
Just confirmed on the Clubs website
Probably the highest pedigree player we've signed since relegation (appart from buffer if you count him)

Re: Scott Loach
Top signing, very good core developing in the team as well as exciting players like EMC/Mauro.
Re: Scott Loach
I am keeping my expectations low so I can be pleasantly surprised
Re: Scott Loach
Good, positive signing. In my opinion, that's a key position, and on paper that looks like an improvement on what we had.
Be interesting to see who comes in next and where on the pitch... for me it's the centre forward position which needs some beefing up.

Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!
Re: Scott Loach
Played all 46 league games in both of his seasons at Pools, with not a single one missed due to injury, suspension, loss of form or anything else. That might not seem that unusual, but when did we last go a full season with just one custodian between the sticks?
I thought it might be 14/15, but having seen Stack made 45 and not 46 appearances, I recall we had the loan keeper for the Bristol Rovers away game.

Re: Scott Loach
Now we need to sort out the other end of the pitch and get somebody who can score goals.
Re: Scott Loach
Cue the poll, on how many games, before he’s long term injured.Tuesds wrote:Played all 46 league games in both of his seasons at Pools, with not a single one missed due to injury, suspension, loss of form or anything else. Re: Scott Loach
Big weakness in the team hopefully strengthened.
Personality and presence in the team I hope as much as his footballing abilities

And there we have it, poor lad jinxed. Only going to have to see the Kabba room and he’ll be out for 2 years!!!
Decent looking signing. Well done DC.

Jake Cole played all 46 in 09/10 - amazingly due to his sicknote tendancies!Tuesds wrote:Played all 46 league games in both of his seasons at Pools, with not a single one missed due to injury, suspension, loss of form or anything else. Re: Scott Loach
Having been in the minority in thinking that we could be OK with Cousins I must say this is an excellent signing and a clear upgrade. When we played Hartlepool the commentators made clear that they thought he was really good and someone who would go back into the league and he's played like that when I've seen him.
