Is it June yet?
Re: Is it June yet?
The first important milestone of the new season is tomorrow - it's Retained List day! Based on previous experience you can be sure there will be much gnashing of teeth on here over players who we think should/should not have been retained, together with a few mysteries thrown in too!

We assume that tomorrow is Retained List day...
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!
Re: Is it June yet?
We'll probably find the announcement at the start of the month was the retained list. The teasers

Fixtures will be released on Wednesday 3rd July, as announced at the NL AGM. First Saturday in August will be the first match.

Re: Is it June yet?
The fixtures not being out yet makes it very difficult for planning other leisure pursuits! Keen not to miss a few of the away games, and it would be typical to arrange something else for those dates only to get Harrogate or Torquay!
Last season started with lots of Tuesday night games in August, e.g. the first and second weeks. The 3rd week didn't have a mid-week game. Anyone know the fixture dates at least for this season? I'm wondering if there will be games on 13th/20th August. Based on last season, there would be on the 13th but not the 20th August.

Couldn't agree more. Why the EFL fixtures can be out in mid June but we have to wait until early July always infuriates me.wearebees wrote:The fixtures not being out yet makes it very difficult for planning other leisure pursuits! Would it have anything to do with the uncertainty of which teams are in which divisions in the non league pyramid?becbee wrote:Couldn't agree more.
