Re: Thirsty Sunderland fans
Always thought this is a great idea. But i've no idea whether TK thinks it might breach the terms with local residents. But it makes perfect sense - target one club (i.e. Portsmouth) and get them to come down and use the club. The benefit is it should also work for police - getting 500-1000 fans in one place where they can park, drink and eat and it's basically a doddle to Wembley as you're going the wrong way.

there have been attempts in the past to attract Wembley attendees to park at the Hive - but perhaps they've not been profitable. The Rugby finals were targeted for a couple of years with a Oyster card and drinks etc. You would think it would be profitable . . . .
Re: Thirsty Sunderland fans
A good idea. But if you have a calendar full of much more profitable weddings to fulfill, why bother.

I must admit the one flaw is that the bar staff would struggle to cope.Perhaps once hotel built more feasible.

It was a couple of wayward Sunderland fans visiting the East terrace who introduced us to 'we're on our way' back in 04/05.

My pub drinks do with my work colleagues on the lunchtime before my wedding was "shared" with a big group of rugby league fans down for their next day Wembley Cup Final. That worked!Norfolk & Chance wrote:Just combine the two.
