Hampton (THL) The court at silly Middlesex on thread

Post: # 265974Post Bee_Forever »

So.... after watching Barnet dominate the game but not the scoreline vs. Dorchester we find that our cup runneth over as we play our third cup match in succession on Tuesday.

Last round we put out a strong line-up but with our fixtures piling up a squad team seems more likely as Darren tries to prevent injury in our starting XI.

Hampton have just signed nana and sylla and will be looking to avenge a preseason result which flattered us somewhat. I would be a-maze-d if we progress but with such threadbare resources (especially defensively) we would be royally screwed if one of the first team was injured.

I would go

--------------------------MATREVICS------------------------

--Pascal--Tutonda--Jules---royal box-------------

-walker----fonguck----adams------akinola--------

----------------Bettamer--Barham------------------------

Subs: Azaze, Hernandez, Harrison, Shomotun, O'Connell

Looking forward to a pressure free evening of bees action without the pageantry of a first team fixture.

I would go:-

Isn't Hernandez still on loan at wingate?
... All we have to do is keep winning the next game ...

Not sure if MSC allows us to play loaned out players. If not I guess Tompkins can sit on the bench if Hernandez is still at Fingate and Winless

I wouldn’t want Currie to pick any members of the first team squad for this game. Is there a daft rule I’m missing ?

We can play whoever we like, under Allen we held this competition in such low regard that we once fielded the U16s because we didn't want to risk the U18s.

Still fielded a strong team in the last round, I would expect it to be a best XI from those who have not started since Currie came in.

I think trialists are allowed though not sure.

I'm thinking:

Matrevics

Pascal
Smith
Tutonda
Box

Walker
Shomotun
Fonguck
Akinola

Bettamer
Barham

No doubt Byron will start though.

Looks an interesting team, 6 strikers. OK I know that Wes is not a striker but he does score goals. Could be fun.

Does the county cup have its own disciplinary record?

If Smith is unavailable we will probably see Fin Titchmarsh from the U18s.

I hope none of our starting XI are involved.

you can register trialists to play in the competition as long as its before the registration deadline! the fa website has Smith suspended for 1 non first team game which can only be the senior cup as unless we entered that central league cup thing we made the final of 2 years ago!
