Dissapointing really, this will definitley damage the attendance and atmosphere.

Certainly could do with some downhill second half underhill magic for this tie.

Tickets on sale already, despite what the club says online. Just got my two together.
No Hive discounts, it seems.

Attendance may indeed suffer with it being Monday night and on TV, which is why the sensible thing to do would be to make it £10 tickets for the whole ground, at least attempt to get people in and generate some kind of atmosphere.

There are £150,000 reasons for TK to agree to the match being played on a Monday night and with that in mind, I think it's the correct decision!

I think the club got this right. Not sure if they are even allowed under tournament rules to refuse a request to move a match for TV. But in any event, it's £150k extra for the club which is a serious amount of money. Definitely is annoying for younger fans with early bedtimes though.

I don't think a Monday night slot will hit the gate much. Whilst midweek league games might get a lower gate, surely that deterrent effect isn't going to be in play for our biggest cup game in over decade. True that some younger fans won't be able to make it but may be roughly offset by the fact that our Jewish fans who can't make Saturday games will be able to make a Monday one.

Don't think it's a question of agreeing to anything. Once the TV company picks the game you do as told.

Like the fact the club have kept the price at £10 for the south stand great value for a 4th round cup match.

This isn't good news. If the 5th round draw shows that the winner of Barnet Brentford is one of the top 6, then Brentford will play a full strength team.

They''ll have already have named their team, but I expect they'll play a strong team anyway?

Thanks for the heads up. Should have known to check anyway, despite what the club said.

Does anyone have any idea if FA cup games are shown in Spain? I’m working in Barcelona that week
