Shaq magnificent

Special mention to Coulthirst, who I thought was the best player on the pitch

He may not be tall, but he’s strong and his hold-up play was superb.

He’s not the only one, but he’s transformed since Currie came in

Also underlines the folly of Still’s mismanagement of him

On the same note, Harrison’s cameo was utterly pathetic

Seconded on all counts.

I’m a forgiving chap, but the contrast between Shaq and Harrison was quite something. He didn’t seem to realise effort was needed.

Completely agree re Shaq. You could see that it meant so much to him.
The least said about Harrison's cameo, the better. The occasion seemed so huge for everybody else, why did he appear so disinterested?

Shaq epitomised what you have to do when playing against the bigger teams. Left it all out there don’t like to criticise Harrison on a great day for Barnet but the difference was obvious

Great performance from Shaq.

I’m not sure what people were expecting Harrison to do. The name of the game for a front man when he came on was purely to keep their defence occupied so they couldn’t all just press forward. DC did the right thing brining Harrison and Tutonda on to hold our lead. Everyone did what was needed.

So many brilliant performances today.

Shaq had the game of this life, was unlucky to have that header ruled out, great penalty, hold up play terrific, tenacious, powerful and dangerous. Blades defence looked scared.

Jack Taylor. Medy Elito. Dan Sweeney.

Standout performers.

Nobody had a bad game. Us 966 were duly rewarded with an incredible effort and a deserved win.

What a club.

Not the first time we've said this about Shaq. With the right manager behind him and the right system he's lethal and works his nuts off. Can't ask for more and he's been greatly missed.

Such a massive contrast with Harrison at the end that we could easily have conceded under unnecessary pressure.
Hopefully it's an eye-opener for Currie that sees others get a fair chance to play with Shaq,

Watching the highlights on MOTD and he was class today. Held the ball up so well and created numerous chances, not to mention scoring the penalty.

Could not be happier for him, especially after what he's been through recently.

There is a thread on the Sheffield United forum agreeing how well he played and that he was man of the match. They also suggested that they should buy him. However the thread ends up saying the same about EMC.
They were both excellent yesterday.
