Bear in mind that when he left Eastleigh it was months before he could join another club without losing out on his Pay Off from Eastleigh. Obviously none of us know the conditions behind his contract with Chesterfield but it's quite possible that the same thing applies. He's not going to risk losing out on his Chesterfield Pay Off!
