Presumably Hitchin's ground is in Hitchin and they didn't pay more than £20 to get in.

Yes but Hitchin's ground is in the middle of Hitchin. Maybe that says that no amount of ticket price reduction is going to get more fans to travel to The Hive.

I was under the impression that prior to this season attendances at the Hive were fairly similar to Underhill, and that after 5 years at the Hive and given the majority of supporters reside outside the borough, the decline in attendance was most likely down to factors other than travel?

Regardless, the team dug out another result, so we may yet see an upward trend if this continues.

Is this the first time we've score more than 2 in a game this season?
First time I can remember three full backs each scoring a goal.

To be fair that was Hitchin's biggest game in years.

We're properly in the hat for round 1. Bring on Coventry at home!
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!

Good to see & score some goals today. Job done in the end with some key players back (Altho Jules hobbled off at the end).

Gigantic if but in a few weeks time we could have 6 fit strikers - not sure how you’d keep them all happy but hopefully a nice problem to have ahead. We will see.

Why Coventry at Home?! I want an FA Cup run. Met Police at home please, or any other non league at home

South terrace was brilliant today. While attendances are lower, the atmosphere has improved. In the south stand at least.

Quality over quantity, I guess.
