A very entertaining game! The standout players for me were Jules,Duku - a great debut considering he can't be match fit! - and,of course,my MOM Wes! Other good performances from Walker - the best that I have seen from him - & Jack. Duku should have been subbed about 10 minutes earlier but that's a small gripe! With performances like this hopefully some of the stay-aways will return.
I love Luisma & really miss his skils!

Let's not get too carried away.
We are 13th in the Form Table (last six games) P6 W2 D2 L2 F7 A7 Pts 8
Salford are top, W6 and Eastleigh are 2nd W4 D2.

There's still a long way to go.
P10 W6 D2 L2 is play off form.

Best performances I've seen from Wes (who is improving at an encouraging rate) and Adams, who is decent when he keeps the ball on the deck.

Duku looks an excellent signing. Just what we've been missing. Good vision, too. Deserved a goal.

Nice play by Alexander and Walker in the build up to the crucial opener. Not sure if we'd had a shot on target until then, for all our good play.

Sweeney and Robson looked shaky at time in the second half. Jules looks like an excellent signing.

When Duku, Harrison, Walker, Barham, Coolthirst and Tarpey are all fit, who plays? An embarrassment of riches there.

Unlikely to be a situation we ever find ourselves in

Well deserved win yesterday, we had the usual nervy 10 minute spell towards the end but they rarely tested Cousins although he made 1 good save in first half.

Duku was very impressive considering he had hardly any previous game time, only turned up at the Hive on Friday and not played with any of our players or systems.
He looked like a much younger big John !!
He kept the ball well, was fast, had a good touch, brought players into the game .
When fully fit could be a very useful asset to the team.
Hopefully we may be able to keep him after his loan spell ends.

According to the Cheltenham message board, he cost them a 5 figure sum but hasn't settled and wanted to return to the London area.
