Good that they've done this early, but just out of curiosity, when was the last time we were involved in a sell-out league game which wasn't the last game of the season?
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!

It hasn't sold out yet chum :-)
It would have been in ye olde days - Darlington 1990 maybe. I think Kettering away in 1991 was sold out!

I remember being crammed on to the west bank with much of the east given to the Darlo fans.
I reluctantly appreciated their singing, especially under the roof, it was a pretty impressive sight too.
And then we duly facked it up and they went home happy.

But there was not much roof about for that game we had lost it in a Shaun (Gale) a few days earlier!

We are allocated 1200. They are rebuilding their end at that time so they also have a reduced capacity of 2400 - meaning if we sell out (which you would assume we will) then we will have half the ground

As if there are 1200 B'wood supporters about for a league match!

Of course, that explains my memory of them being bathed in brilliant sunlight.
It was a great sight and the singing was hugely impressive.
We really didn't turn up though, great shame.

(You're gonna tell me it was pissing down aren't you!?)

Looking at the Wood website, I see that their on-the-day price is £20, including uncovered terracing. So their Terrace price was 33% higher than ours... until this morning, of course, when we put our price up to the same level as theirs. You wouldn’t get that impression from reading the comments on here and on social media about our club.

B’wood do have a £2 discount if you book in advance, but I keep reading on here that the on-the-day price is key, and I largely agree.

I was in the Barnet section of the popular side that day.The Darlo support was amazing, including the banter across the 'gap'.There was no animosity that I remember, considering we had won at their place earlier in the season.

And what an away game that was. Gary Poole free kick and a David Gipp header if my memory serves me correctly.
