I always had a laugh with him and his famous "SING" shouts. He was the reason I moved a few seats nearer the middle of the West Stand :-).

He was always willing to take up with anyone who didn't give what he considered wholehearted support to the players and was more than happy to apologise afterwards :-)

Will be sadly missed. Looking forward to giving him a round of applause on Saturday.

Forgive my ignorance. Is he the person who commonly shouts "Sing" on the half way line around row O?

RIP. Seemed like a very passionate fan and a decent guy on the few occasions I spoke with him.

Gutted. Richard was a great character and like everybody said, had such an upbeat, positive attitude. He will be missed. A true supporter.

Was devastated when I was informed of the news last night as it was only on Good Friday I was sitting with him, whilst hugging each over and over again when Akinde's 2nd penalty went in.

Will be joining in on the 60th minute with you Reckless

Only knew Richard and Debbie since my short time as supporting Barnet, but you will hard pushed to find a man with such an infectious smile and voice and with such a passion for our beloved club.

You are going to be sorely missed my friend R.I.P Richard x

Geninuely shocked to hear this sad news. I went to school with Richard and we have kept in touch over the years through BFC.

Sad news to hear, echo what everyone else has said, will of course be joining in the 60th minute applause.

2 or 3 season ago I was reading 1 of his articles in the programme about a game versus Preston in the 1960s (I think?) and I said to him I could not believe he was old enough to have been at that game, he liked that I thought he was younger then he looked.

Condolences to his family and close friends. RIP Richard.

This is Richard at his happiest - a few years back his idol Colin Powell came to Underhill and had a few drinks with us in the Pav.

Here's another picture of Richard this time with a young Steve Skinner. As you say Reckless always smiling and always a part of things Barnet FC.

Thanks for the photo. Like a lot of Barnet fans we had chatted without being certain of the name. Thinking of his family
