Re: Bee Army Membership
I can see the comments on this already:
Yet another offer to complicate things
and
if you join now you will have to pay all summer when there are no games
BUT, I do like a double pint

The biggest draw for me on this offer is that nobody will sign up to it so I quite like the idea of having my own private bar.

There were fewer terms and conditions when I took out my mortgage. Why don't over 65s get the free pints? Maybe I read it wrong. At least they have a sense of humour.... it says offer valid whilst seats remain available. I hope Tony isn't flattened by the rush!

Didn't notice that about the over 65's not getting the free double pint, does seem strange, but makes it even more likely I'm going to have my own private bar for the next few months. Once it fails they will have to offer me some sort of free membership change so they can allow others to use the Jubilee Bar.Norfolk & Chance wrote:There were fewer terms and conditions when I took out my mortgage. whatever people seem to gripe about - equiv of £15 a match [factoring in 4 months full cost] certainly takes on board people's criticism of high ticket prices. I doubt many League 2 clubs have much cheaper pricing for such good seats ? ?? What's to complain about - even members in 'more expensive' memberships can trade . . . . what's so difficult ?
does everything the club does have to come under constant criticism ?

I don't think anyone has criticised it. It's just funny that a lot on here want things to be simpler and this is yet another offer. I see both sides of the argument and will likely take this offer up, I just don't see many others going for it.
Re: Bee Army Membership
The beer in the Jubilee bar has been so bad in the past that I've struggled to finish a pint.

The T&Cs on this mean that it is effectively a season ticket that costs £352 a season. Every other club in Division 2 currently offers a cheaper season ticket than this it is more than the highest priced season ticket at 7 clubs.
If you drink two pints (I assume that is what they mean by a double pint ?) at every home game it i s undoubtably a good deal. if you don't and or we are relegated to the National League it doesn't look good.

I think the double pint is a 2 pint glass (plastic). The half price offer is good. As you say the offer becomes less attractive at full price. I'm sure there are enough offers to keep everyone happy in one way or another. Sorry, I mean keep everyone less unhappy. COYB!

Re: Bee Army Membership
you can sign up for just 8 months - so providing you go back to the regular west stand membership after its good value.
They have been selling double pint glasses for a while now
It should ease congestion in Grazioli’s.
But.... as said it’s another complicated offer.

Will this not just spread the sparse crowd further apart?
Certainly not an offer for drivers. Why not allow punters to have a coke or a coffee instead and include kids\concessions in the offer?

You can go to the west for a few games, what would be the price difference for the first 8 months with the 50% off?chesbee wrote:What about us in the South Stand, made to feel like 2nd class supporters
Hopefully the South mirrors the north and the east becomes the new south and then everyone has access to similar facilities. I'm guessing TK hasn't added facilities to the south as he plans to have it redeveloped asap.
