Bee Army Membership
Re: Bee Army Membership
Why deliberately go for a less attractive block just so as to get a couple of pints of uninspiring beer?
I doubt many will take up this limp offer.

If I was currently in the east stand with no cover and no indoor facilities then I think it would be worth considering for 8 months regardless of the beer.becbee wrote:Why deliberately go for a less attractive block just so as to get a couple of pints of uninspiring beer?

They will need to fix the loose dangerous flooring in the back row of the old away section if people are going to sit there regularly!

You would also probably be in a minority of 1 amongst anyone in that part of the East Stand by being someone who is contemplating coming to 4-5 months worth of a season's games on a regular basis.BeesKnees wrote:If I was currently in the east stand with no cover and no indoor facilities then I think it would be worth considering for 8 months regardless of the beer.becbee wrote:Why deliberately go for a less attractive block just so as to get a couple of pints of uninspiring beer?

Wouldn't be the first time I was a minority of one.Hiveoccupier wrote:You would also probably be in a minority of 1 amongst anyone in that part of the East Stand by being someone who is contemplating coming to 4-5 months worth of a season's games on a regular basis.BeesKnees wrote:If I was currently in the east stand with no cover and no indoor facilities then I think it would be worth considering for 8 months regardless of the beer.becbee wrote:Why deliberately go for a less attractive block just so as to get a couple of pints of uninspiring beer?

All the recent offers claiming you need to hurry as numbers are limited just make me laugh. If block F and G were filled then the rest of the ground would be empty.

Could be the home attendance by the end of the season.BeesKnees wrote:Wouldn't be the first time I was a minority of one.Hiveoccupier wrote:You would also probably be in a minority of 1 amongst anyone in that part of the East Stand by being someone who is contemplating coming to 4-5 months worth of a season's games on a regular basis.BeesKnees wrote:If I was currently in the east stand with no cover and no indoor facilities then I think it would be worth considering for 8 months regardless of the beer.becbee wrote:Why deliberately go for a less attractive block just so as to get a couple of pints of uninspiring beer?

Re: Bee Army Membership
Tony deserves credit for this. Ignoring the intro offer it is £350quid a season so that's about £15 a game (40% saving per game vs individual tickets) and you get two free pints each game. By any measure that is a pretty good deal. If you factor in you get £8 of free beer per game that's equivalent to a ticket for £7 a time. That is not bad at all

Why not have an £8pm membership upgrade for the beer?barnetjohn wrote:Tony deserves credit for this. Scanning your card at the turnstile could inform the bar staff to pour your pint.
Re: Bee Army Membership
We won't be a league 2 club for the full 8 months so not really a fair comparison. It's also enough to put most drivers over the limit so probably not viable for the majority of our fan base.barnet_pls wrote:whatever people seem to gripe about - equiv of £15 a match [factoring in 4 months full cost] certainly takes on board people's criticism of high ticket prices. I doubt many League 2 clubs have much cheaper pricing for such good seats ? ?? What's to complain about - even members in 'more expensive' memberships can trade . . . . what's so difficult ?
does everything the club does have to come under constant criticism ?
It's not that it's a bad offer, just a niche market. Like the others it lacks simplicity and most people just want a basic membership offer without the add-ons.
The real complaint is surely with the quality of football on offer for the price - given the 10th highest budget in the league and promise of a playoff chasing team.
Though was it ever explicitly specified in which league we'd be aiming for the playoffs, or in what year?

Re: Bee Army Membership
There's another flaw in this offer. To open a bar that's normally closed you need bar staff. Will they employ more people or as I think take people away from Legends to service the few that sign up for it. Doesn't seem to be a very well thought out plan to me.barnetpete wrote:Not jubilee, just grazioli’s (It’s still called that on the website so i’ll Still call it that!)
