Just because McInnes is going to Rangers, it does not follow that McGhee is moving to Aberdeen.

By all accounts McGhee was incredibly unpopular at the point he left the Dons, so they would not want to risk the ire of their fans by replacing a good manager with one who will face an uphill task to get the fans on side.

It would be like us removing Rossi and bringing in a manager with even less league exp.... oh wait.

It appears that the media people got it all wrong. Apparently Aberdeen turned down Barnet's offer to move McGhee from Barnet to Aberdeen!

Aberdeen! does anyone remember that brilliant series called "Grass" with Simon Day, when as a grass, he was given a new identity and moved to Norfolk? He was under the impression he would eventually be moved to Florida for his amazing new life but instead ended up in Aberdeen much to his disgust.....
