FA Cup
Re: FA Cup
Are you sure? According to the FA website all ties are listed as being on the 4th but some games will be moved to the 3rd and some to the 5th and 6th. From what I can see that decision hasn't been made yet.letchbee94 wrote:Yes 4th November is a dateJohn_c wrote:Has the date been confirmed as 4th November?

Re: FA Cup
On a serious note, I can see this tie being selected as one of the 8 or 10 that the Beeb selects for its Sunday FA Cup Football Focus programme.
Re: FA Cup
Ah yeah forgot about that programme. Is it definitely on again this year?
Re: FA Cup
Hyde v MK Done chosen as the Friday night BBC game.
They confirm there will be 8 games on Sunday for the FA Cup Final score programme on the Sunday 5th November as well. Yet to be announced.

Re: FA Cup
Would be ironic if it was 5th November as they're called BlackBURN.
Cup dreams gone up in smoke? Certainly not.

Re: FA Cup
The draw was made on Monday. It's now Friday and Barnet fans (plus virtually every other fan of clubs in the 1st Round) still don't know the day we are playing.
This is not good enough.
Fans matter.
Both the BBC and the FA should be ashamed.

You make it sound like they actually give a f*** about the fans that go to matches? It's TV revenue they care about, we are just an inconvenience.

Guys it's not the end of the world, calm down.
TV revenue matters, that's where the money is. We only have our fellow fan to blame for the trend shift as fans prefer to sit on the sofa rather than going in person.

It does matter. Train costs increase with the passage of time. I will probably have to swerve this as a consequence. Doesn't look like there is the appetite for a coach among our supporters.

FA Cup | Blackburn First Round tie confirmed for Saturday November 4th
Re: FA Cup
Good to see the club will put in a coach if there is demand.
The date and time of Barnet’s trip to Ewood Park has been confirmed and the tie will take place on Saturday November 4th at 3pm.
This will be the first-ever meeting between the two sides in the club history, with the game against the six-time FA Cup winners and former Premier League champions proving to be a highly anticipated clash.
The club is proposing to put on a coach service from The Hive to Ewood Park for a £30 return providing 35 fans are willing to travel. Those wishing to travel should email apullen@thehivelondon.com expressing their interest. Should we reach the target number, payment details will follow.
Ticket information for this game will be released in the near future.

Re: FA Cup
I would have gone, but I will be in Florida, I hope we do well but a few wins in the league before then would be better.
