I've seen plenty of smash and grabs and that was nothing of the sort!! Stephens only had 2 saves to make the entire game, 1 after we'd scored...

Luton should be really proud of some of their fans. The behaviour and attitude is well reflected by so many of the comments on their forum. It also would seem from yesterday that some don't know basics like how to use seats, some don't know how to use toilets and some appear to have got their parents to write their comments on their forum for them - apparently you have to be over 18 to post on it. Incredibly sad examples of poor education helping to keep their house prices down and more points on driving licences than combined IQ's. I feel sorry for the many decent supporters that the club has.

We had our very 1st shot on target on the 53rd min, we did fuck all in the 1st half apart from hump it up the pitch. We didn't look like winning at all, so how don't it look like smash and grab when it was heading for a 0-0???

Because Luton created sod all too. We weren't under constant pressure - our defence confidently had Luton under control. So by the 54th minute we had 1 shot each on target. By the 95th we'd had 2 shots each - we were just more clinical. We can all agree both teams probably deserved a draw. As I said I've seen many smash and grabs - most PF league wins on the road for starters. Lee Harrison against Torquay away, etc etc. Not yesterday.

Both teams cancelled each other out. Their two shots came from individual errors rather than them opening us up.

I've watched the game back again and they did nothing with the ball, nor did we mind you, we were really organised and so were they.

I guess a team smashing the other for 90 mins hitting everything apart from the net and then the other team nicking it is a smash and grab to you. I agree with that but in a game where no one was looking like a winner and we only had 2 shots, no one deserved to win that game, when we scored in the 91st min to me that is a smash and grab as we have just robbed all 3 points.

There was a game down there, forget which year, where Torquay genuinely battered us - 1999? - had about 30 shots on target and we barely left our own box, and somehow won with our only shot of the game (Heald header?) - i'm sure someone can remember the minutae better than us.

Lee basically made amazing save after amazing save - I remember Match magazine gave him a 10/10 - the only League 2 keeper to get that score that year!

FA Tropy 3rd round 1972, Wigan Ath 1 Barnet 2. Now that was the Bees finest smash and grab.
