Who do we all want?

Post: # 216069Post LeicesterBee »

First and last league games of the season

I'd go for a home fixture against one of the more average sides to get the ball rolling and hopefully some points under our belt - so Crawley or Morecambe please

Last game - away somewhere where we can have a promotion party in the sun. Exeter would be nice!

Agree, I was thinking the other did it would be good to play someone like Crawley at the Hive first game, chance to start season with a win.

Don't play Morecambe early on in the season! They always start well before fading away over winter.
I'd actually like to start off against Coventry City at the Hive.

Also if he don't make 4 or 5 signings by the end of the transfer window we have a chance of relegation

Wouldn't be so sure. Harry Kewell's been linked with some decent players. They could be the division's surprise team, like Exeter were after such a poor start.

Coventry at home on an international break. New ground for Sky to cover and hopefully a 4,500+ crowd. That would be brilliant.

I imagine I am in a minority of one here but I'd like to start with Carlisle away. Carlisle and Coventry are the only L2 grounds this season that I've not been to and I'd have no excuse not to go if it were first match of the season!

Final match of the season somebody mid table at home.

Be nice to finish with a home fixture
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!

I guess Wembley is close enough to be called a home fixture

Always has to be away.

Its a free hit whoever you play, if you lose you get a chance to put points on the board in the first home game.

If we slip up on the first game at home it's a harder recovery IMO

It would be nice to play teams going for promotion last load of games were dull at end of season

We've got Coventry at home on an international break so that's half the equation.

That game could well see the Hive league attendance record broken. It'll attract a lot of Premier League fans, Coventry will fill out their allocation easily. The kits are great too - amber & black v sky blue & white.

All will be revealed tomorrow !! I am hoping we have 5 available kits to beat the 4 from last season - not !
One home and one away please - Hoops + Amber, however I guess we are due a vertical stripe again.

Maybe similar to this (obviously without the hearts):
