Far more reliable, AFC Dons season ticket holder with connections to the board told me they are on the verge of signing Big John.

Unfortunately this one seems quite realistic...... Why people were thinking he would go to Chesterfield is madness.MCB wrote:Far more reliable, AFC Dons season ticket holder with connections to the board told me they are on the verge of signing Big John.
Milton Keynes is local (for his young family), league two (his level) and decent size club (for league two)

Kent to AFC is no different to travelling from Kent to the Hive
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!

There is no way we would touch him. He's well and truly burned his bridges here.MCB wrote:I'm ignoring this one

This is probably true, but a pity because he has such raw talent, which needs harnessing. Edgar could do it because he appreciated flair and allowed KMB to go out and express himself by playing his natural game. This undoubtedly came because Edgar spent his own career surrounded by talented players, who were given freedom by top managers.#Beebot wrote:There is no way we would touch him. Other managers have tended to see KMB as an optional extra, which is sad, but inevitable at this level of football.

Not saying I want him back, but merely pointing out that the lad has undoubted talent providing he is employed correctly. Edgar always managed to do that because he appreciated a bit of flair and individuality.mcleod23 wrote:No thanks. Lazy, turns up when suits him.

Just heard the same from an Imps supporting friend. I don't think they realise the more valuable purchase is the services of his brother, Akinde (pen).rudebwoyben wrote:Apparently Lincoln City have agreed a fee with us for the services of Big John..!
