His Twitter entry is timed as 6 hours ago yet there's nothing anywhere to confirm this, or even suggest the possibility. I'd have thought that unless intelligence suggests Portsmouth is expecting trouble tonight then our match should be on. it would be different if we were at home or in London area. Apparently the Ghana match at Watford is still set to go ahead.

Sam Cox has changed his mind on Twitter!

No official confirmation yet, only London games so far have been cancelled.

According to the Club & Portsmouth at the moment the game is very much on.

Although this may well change.

I don't think the issue is safety in Pompey.

The issue is that Police are being called in from elsewhere and if they police footy games during day, who is going to be on the streets at night.

I can see all SouthEast based footy being off until weekend at least.

Emgland Holland is likely to be off. I think that there is a Ghana/Nigeria game scheduled somewhere in London too. Wouldn't be surprised if that goes too.

I have a feeling this is gonna get worse before it gets better.

Just so you all know, the coroners inquest into the Police shooting of Mark Duggan is being held in Barnet today. Quite possible that it will be used as another excuse.

I know there was a thread a while back with some listed but I'm having trouble tracking it down. The search function yields no results.

Sam Cox probaly got confused when he saw on sky news that all london clubs have been asked to call games of on Police advice, but that is only for games happening IN London.
