Many thanks for the tipoff, just had £10 each way as that price is twice what some are offering.

66/1 still on offer from Skybet. These are the best odds available.
If you feel confident on a good season from the Bees I recommend you lump on now. I can't see these odds staying this generous for much longer.

Eve of the season and most bookies are very confident that Barnet will not make the top four in League 2. Our pre-season odds have drifted with many of the bookies. Betfair are offering 80/1 on Barnet whilst Skybet still show 66/1 with 1/5 of the odds for a place (top four).

Re our match tomorrow:
FGR win best price 6/5 (Bet Victor)
Bees win best price 13/5 (Bet 365)
Draw best price 9/4 (Betfair)

Best of luck folks.

Thanks for the continued odds updates Hoppy, it is much appreciated.

As has been shown in the Save the Bees i'm not the best person to be betting full stop, but it's always interesting to see the lack, or perceived lack of knowledge the bookies have in the lower leagues and the potential value.

Havn't seen anyone mention they are putting money on Big John to be top scorer this year - 12-1 still seems good value, but of course there is always the possibility he won't be here come the end of the season...

John Akinde is currently 11-1 to finish League 2 top scorer this season. Gotta be worth a little punt there...
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!

Don't forget the standard Akinde to score anytime bet. Always a winner :-)

Posh win best price 8/13 (Skybet, Sportingbet, BetStars)
Bees win best price 11/2 (Bet365)
Draw best price 100/30 (Sportingbet)

11/2 is a decent price. Posh may put out a weakened team.
Anyone tempted?
Best of luck folks.

Big John now 20/1 to be league 2 topscorer. Quarter the odds, first four are the each way terms. Basically a max bet

Unless he gets sold! Always worries me with top scorer bets in the lower leagues when they smash the 1st half of the season.

Collins from Luton is 3 ahead already. I'd wait until Akinde is back and fit before placing any bets as the odds will only get better.

Barnet win best price 13/5 with Bet365
Luton win best price 5/4 with BetVictor
Draw best price 13/5 with Betfair

I will be happy with a draw tomorrow.

It looks wide open with the bookies.
Crewe win 7/4
Barnet win 7/4
Draw 12/5
These are the best odds available, all with Bet365.
I'm hopeful for a win but recent injuries won't help our cause.

Let's hope Crewe don't win 7/4 on this occasion though!

Bees win 13/8 (Bet365, BetVictor)
Chavs win 15/8 (Bet 365, Sky Bet, Bet Victor)
Draw 127/50 (Marathon Bet , many others offering 12/5)

I'm feeling confident. 13/8 it is.
