From what a groundskeeper once told me, the grass is usually kept a bit longer at the beginning of the season so it wears a bit better throughout the winter.
In terms of watering the pitch, all passing teams do it so the ball zips across the surface faster.

Do you really think that I see those who sit as lesser supporters than those who stand?

Please don't get into this.

Fonguck still needs a lot of time.

Weston the seasoned pro, energy, positioning and legs. Him everytime.

Agree. If we sign a DM (which we still need one), this will allow Weston to use his attacking attributes to move a bit forward behind the strikers. Weston has no business winning tackles and losing possession in the CM/DM role.

A very experienced DM can also mentor Fonguck and Watson too.

I'm not sure why Fonguck needs 'mentoring'?

He consistently won the ball cleanly, couple of great blocks and headers in the box. Wasn't overpowered or overwhelmed by one of best teams in the league, played intelligently and broke well.

Why bring someone in to block his path? He looks well ready for league 2.
And in conclusion, how far had you got through reading this before you realised it was my signature?

Also regarding the ref - he was extremely leniant on Jack letting him off an obvious 2nd yellow. Needs to learn a bit of game management when he's on a yellow card

He was very happy. He even got one of his staff to bring out free food for us, which was a nice touch. A great day out, with the only downside being the poor turnout from our fans.

I've been told Watson won't be here by the end of the week.

Great win. Still trying to figure out why Luton are claiming a foul in the build-up to the goal. The defender had his pocket picked and fell over as an after-thought

Our August home support has historically always been pretty poor.
Having Luton and Stevenage at home early is good for the overall
figures and TK's pocket..

I noticed this as well. Their fans were embarrassing and it's no surprise to see the whining about be confronted by police and stewards for not being decent human beings.

That said the seating in the stand is all wrong and having no centre block almost guarantees that fans will stand in that aisle. Needs a rethink so the core support can stand in the middle at the back, without getting in others way.

Why does the layout of the aisles affect fans who wish to stand going to the back and leaving the front for those who wish to sit? There is no excuse for people standing in the aisles. It is a H&S risk and it must have blocked the view of seated fans.
Anyway there was standing in 2 aisles so wasn't the seating between those 2 aisles a centre block?

Also why are fans who wish to stand "core support"? Surely those who attend away matches but remain seated are just as much core supporters as those who prefer to stand?
It makes me laugh. They all stood in the aisle. They simply didn't need to.

It was deliberately antagonising. Then they bleat about the stewards. Oh please.

I don't get it. They paid all that money to stand in an aisle arguing with stewards and pissing off fellow fans who had to also stand to be able to see the action. Luton as a club should be asking us for the CCTV footage and warn those involved that they I'll be banned if they re offend.

Met police update:. The steward has in fact been released without charge but the Luton fan has been charged with viciously attacking the steward's fist with his face. What a nasty horrible bunch!
