That says the 'target' of 90 is not necessarily enough.....

Well at least they had the good grace to acknowledge where they got it from!

So mathematically we could stay unbeaten (16 draws) and still get relegated?

A draw against Alfreton would push the guaranteed safety down by 2 points meaning we'd survive by one point.

Phew!

You can relax guys as Alfreton have to play Welling twice still, so if Alfreton win all their games to get to 78 points, then Welling can only get 75 points.

Something I only just noticed is that barring a points deduction or 72 goal swing in goal difference Nuneaton can no longer finish above us - 1 down 22 to go!!

I'm pretty sure we can't finish bottom, even if we lost all our remaining 14 games. But if someone has time on their hands and fancies proving it...

Confirmed! The remaining points can't be distributed in such a way to get all the other teams to at least 65 points.

So 23rd is the lowest we can mathematically finish. Drink2:

A quicker than usual update after today's non-event in Halifax and Dartford's heroics. Done in haste so apologies for any errors that have crept in.
