New opposition for us this week in the 1st round of the European cup. Our opponents are Ham-Kam who finished 4th in the Norwegian League scoring 2m points.

Assuming we win, Atletico Madrid coming up in Rd 2. They actually lost in Rd 2 last week to St-Etienne, whom we beat in Rd 3. So maybe a chance of an upset?? If we have everyone playing from 10-12noon Friday, we will find out! They are ranked down in 6th in Europe so far this year, lower than they normally would be. We are ranked 13th for 2011.

"Hamarkameratene, often abbreviated to HamKam, is a Norwegian football club based in the town of Hamar. The club was founded in 1918, originally under the name Freidig. HamKam were most recently promoted to the Norwegian Premier League in 2007. A third place finish in 1970 is the highest position that the team has held in the Premier League; the club has never progressed beyond the semifinals of the Norwegian Cup, last reaching the semifinals in 1989."

Ayudaaaa indeed! That was a great and very enjoyable win. We have suffered against that lot SO many times. At a guess they helped out Bilbao, but no-one can take the Atletico win away. WELL PLAYED EVERYONE!!
