Re: The chairman has spoken
Looking at the google reviews about The Hive there have been plenty of positive comments when locals have visited to be vaccinated. Quite a few have commented on what a nice stadium it is. Some have even said they may come to watch a game. Who knows if they will but people have been stuck in doors, ...

Re: TK OUT- Protest?
I Was There wrote:Latest TK OUT picture is not The Spires.
It is in fact East Barnet Village, not far from The Prince Of Wales Pub.
The mini roundabout road markings gave it away.
Looking foreward to the next TX OUT location.
Bore off.

Re: Maidenhead (Away) The Don't Call Me Shirley Match Thread
If I was a trainspotter this game wouldn't be as boring. I could have nabbed (is that the right word?) half a dozen GWR locos. I like Maidenhead's old garden shed advertising "Gourmet Burgers". That's real upselling. We’re called bashers. Did you see the Virgin cross rail as it pulled int...

Re: Maidenhead (Away) The Don't Call Me Shirley Match Thread
Anyone else fall asleep during that? I know what you mean about it being a poor game, but personally I find these rare occasions when we’re actually competing and manage to at least stay in the game for a while a lot more engaging than the usual thrashings! Interesting 4-2-3-1 formation today, with...

Re: TK OUT- Protest?
Aaron Sharpe is Chairman of Wingate & Finchley and was instrumental in Hadley Wood Sports Trust getting the 125 year lease to the Old Stationers ground at Underhill. Needless to say he has good connections and a very positive relationship with Barnet Council. The chances of Barnet moving there ...

Re: Furlough
From my experience furlough claims are initially self declarations and you have to certify that your claim is in line with the guidance which is pretty complex. There’s a hot line / website you can use if you consider anyone is making abusive / fraudulent claims. Thousands of reports have been made ...

Re: New signing
I’m presuming the idea is to dilute the negativity which must exist in the dressing room so this should be seen as a good start in my opinion.

Re: The chairman has spoken
My name’s Sam not Eddie but thanks for explaining that so lucidly HiveOccupier. I can understand how frustrating it must be for people that Barnet don’t play in Barnet but it is what it is unfortunately and I can’t see it changing any time soon. I’m one of the few locals that support the club. With ...

Re: Coventry 0-0 Morecambe SAT 05 MAY 2018
It was more in the manor that game was played. A little shake of the hands before the game we know what we both need. Coventry didn’t even try to win, if they need the three points to get in the play-offs you can guarantee they’d of put a poor Morecambe side to the sword. The reality is Barnet woul...

Re: Coventry 0-0 Morecambe SAT 05 MAY 2018
For me it was the period towards the end of Rossi’s spell when we conceded late goals which turned home wins into draws and home draws into losses that ultimately led to the relegation. We’d been on top in most of the games but always seemed to run out of steam in the last 15 minutes.

Re: Wealdstone (away) The Stone Unturned Match Thread
it is only a job, so why are players not up to the job not given 4 weeks notice and told to go? Even if supporters are allowed in for the final 2 games do you think the club will want supporters in the ground to vent their anger? My understanding is the contracts are golden plated due to an agreeme...
