Re: Wealdstone Tickets
Most of them are OK usually but I don't really know where the Wealdstone fans drink on matchdays. I'm never in the High Street then if I can help it :-). The Smugglers Cove in Ruislip High Street was a mixed crowd after the game last season and trouble free. Further up The High Street The Hop and Vi...

Re: Wealdstone Tickets
Speaking as a local, I'm pretty sure the City v Liverpool game will be on in all the pubs in Ruislip & Ruislip Manor. If you want a guaranteed hassle free place to watch the game, and are prepared to walk a little further, Ruislip Cricket Club will be open in Kings College Road, HA4 7JZ. It serv...

Re: Be Careful what you wish for LONG LIVE TK
we have been a yo yo team we never ever get more than 2,000 regular gates unless it's last game of the season or round 2 or more in the FA CUP That's not true as shown here http://www.onlybarnet.com/bfcsa/about/attendances.htm Factor in the fact that home attendances were consistently understated i...

Re: These Weddings
MCB is right. I live locally to Wealdstone. I've had dealings with them in youth football (I tried to work cooperatively with them but they reneged on an agreement interestingly enough). Their fans hate Barnet and would come looking to cause problems.

Re: e-programmes
I've always bought a programme. I have a collection going back 40 years of almost every game I've attended and have bought older significant programmes from the club's history on eBay. I hate reading anything much longer than a tweet online/on my phone. I will miss the physical programme and, unfort...

Re: "Who supports a football club for its financial stabilit
After 40 years of supporting the club I'm planning to take a break. For exactly this reason. Every season in League Two since 2005 has been pretty poor. With most being dire. All we do is try to grind out enough points to stay up. We don't generally take the cups seriously. We've had very few decent...

Well said Hoofer2. No sane person thinks War is anything but terrible. Some (e.g. WWII) were entirely justified, some weren't. Service people, in Britain at least, don't start them or get to choose which they will serve in. They do have to fight them and live with the scars, physical or mental, afte...

Re: Barnet FC League 1/2 Average Attendance
Wow! Trumpism comes to Barnet. `Actual figures are meaningless because they don't fit with my preconceptions/beliefs and anecdotal evidence' ` The club could make as much money maintaining, staffing and operating two separate facilities'. We truly are in a post fact world. Absolute tosh. The figure...

I see Charlton have already got Mark Marshall and Ricky Holmes. Are they collecting ex Barnet wingers?

It's interesting to contrast the sympathy on here to this (and to Orient's relegation) with the sociopathic glee Wealdstone supporters are taking from Harrow Borough's relegation. Charming bunch.

Pay peanuts, get monkeys.
Or people who can't wait to leave.
Bit of a theme with poor recruitment isn't there?
