Re: Transfers 2024/25
Hartigan has been released and is a free agent. I think he's great on the ball, but I do wonder if he's physically capable of playing at this level without the ball? He's so poor in transition. I know just about everyone doesn't share this opinion, but it's just how I feel. Like most of you, DB lov...

Re: Dean Brennan Statement
I hoped this would be the outcome, but fair play to TK for letting DB have opportunity to manage at higher level. Let's hope it'll be with us next season!! That said - other clubs will be alerted to the fact that TK is open to offers. When do footballers contracts run to? Sounds like we may have so...

Re: Barnet retained list
I’m obviously in the minority, but I can pass on Hartigan. To me, he’s a bit of a luxury player and one-dimensional. By the end — and this was painfully obvious against Solihull — he came to symbolise how slow and predictable our buildup play became. Yes, he’s obviously a lovely passer, but what el...

Re: Barnet retained list
Read comments on views of release and retain players supporters believe, Hartigan I really like but only if we bring in two better quicker players around him, as his main weakness is he has No pace, cannot track back, if we keep Pritchard same thing applys, good but is now picking up a few injuries ...

Oh that won't go down well lolsimmosenior wrote: ↑28 Apr 2024, 09:24 I'd get rid of Brunt. Fine off the bench when the game becomes stretched but doesn't do enough the rest of the time. He won a 50/50 tackle yesterday; I think that was the first time in his Barnet career.

Re: Solihull Moors (THTS) The Minging to Winning Match Thread
Very bad time for us to have Pritchard being not fit enough to play and Dear God did it show, still don't know what happened to O'Donker to not even be on the bench, Stead another who picked up a dead leg, so only fit for bench. Playing Oluwo who hasn't played in months, so was always going to lack ...

Re: Solihull Moors (THTS) The Minging to Winning Match Thread
I just dozed off and coming back round genuinely wondered if I dreamt that game. My reflections include that When they scored their first even said maybe they have scored too soon, that was a crap suggestion! We just didn’t turn up, not sure anyone comes out with credit. Don’t get the Kanu love for...

Re: Solihull Moors (THTS) The Minging to Winning Match Thread
Funny how supporters view things differentely, I follow Liverpool, and up until few weeks ago were pushing for the title, then for what ever reason the players and manager through away a great chance to win the league, sound familar, great for huge part then choaked at final hurdle. Selection, playe...

Re: Solihull Moors (THTS) The Minging to Winning Match Thread
Rebuild for next season. Moors are for more accustomed to the big occasions. DB and the players have had too much time to overthink and endless stupid interviews about what a trip to wembley would mean for the club. Moors playing midweek has suited them massively. Humiliating This is the most ridic...

Re: Solihull Moors (THTS) The Minging to Winning Match Thread
If O'Donker picked up had injury which ruled him out then fair enough, can understand Stead being in bench after picking up knock, but every aspect of our play from defence to up top has been far to slow, off the pace, didn't see us looking the team that would show up looking shattered, we had every...

Re: Solihull Moors (THTS) The Minging to Winning Match Thread
Think I would of brought Coker on for Oluwo and go to back four, this would allow Kanu to push up, take Freeman off for Stead to play alongside Nicki, and give it 15-20 mins and then Brunt on for Pritch.

Re: Solihull Moors (THTS) The Minging to Winning Match Thread
When Solihull have the ball we look like the team that played just three days ago, feel Kanu is wasting his energy defendibg, want to see him cause them problems in there final third, one really good chance with cross from Kanu to Nicki, is playing three centre backs the is leaving space down both o...

Re: Solihull Moors (THTS) The Minging to Winning Match Thread
Just wish Dean would concentrate on how we can hurt opposition instead of being worried on how they can cause us problems, and we set up like this. Maybe now being 0-2 down he may have to change his stance. COYBs
