Agree, although could do with a bit more experience to balance out any potential naïveté

Re: Transfers 2024/25

Looking good as far as attacking options go. Be brilliant if we can be a little more exciting in the final third next season. Defence also coming along nicely, especially if Collinge departs. Next up - Sweeper keeper - Playmaker (Hartigan?) - Hard bastard CM who takes a game by the scruff of the ne...

Re: Jermaine Francis

Judging by the video, he doesn't get knocked off the ball as easily as some might make out. Looks like a very direct player. Look forward to seeing him in action. Agree… hopefully his directness doesn’t get coached out of him, I’d love to see a bit less of the ponderous passing! Sent from my iPhone...

Re: Jermaine Francis

Remember him pretty well from pre-season, where he made several appearances. Wasn’t particularly impressed - lots of running but not much end product. Looked then, and now, like he needs to bulk up a bit. But it was perhaps too early for him then and sounds like he has the talent and attitude to do...

Re: Transfers 2024/25

Ben Wynter signs for Woking. Seems like he was quite an important player for you guys once - how come he hasn't played much football this year? Is he injury prone, was it form, did you have too many right backs, all of the above? Very good national league player on his day. Just had better players ...

Bottlers, especially the manager.
Pens are a lottery. At least they weren’t 4-0 down.

Re: Dean Brennan Statement

Had completely prepared myself for his departure but pleased that he’s staying. A rare display of loyalty in football? Sounds like a lot of wheels are in motion re the new squad. It’s rare to get promotion from this league without a strong solid base of stability so here’s hoping we can make it thir...

DB to Swindon?

TK got lucky with DB, a very competent (if not exceptional) National League manager with a generally good eye for recruitment and a positive motto of togetherness which helped lift the club out of a hole. But the messiah he is not. He is replaceable and I strongly suspect Swindon will be a step too ...

Re: DB to Swindon?

Would be a poor appointment for Swindon. Not a league quality manager - not yet, at least. I’d like him to have one more season so he can properly finish what he started here, but money talks. In the event Brennan goes, his successor feels like the most important appointment TK will probably ever ma...

Re: Barnet retained list

I’m obviously in the minority, but I can pass on Hartigan. To me, he’s a bit of a luxury player and one-dimensional. By the end — and this was painfully obvious against Solihull — he came to symbolise how slow and predictable our buildup play became. Yes, he’s obviously a lovely passer, but what el...

Re: Big games tonight

Fair play to Bromley. Rose to the big occasion, showed cojones when it really mattered. Could have gone either way but that was an epic contest. Won’t be joining in the Solihull hate. They pulled our pants down and we completely deserved it. Woodman & Whing have proven themselves to be big-game...
